Cara’s Wave of Hope
On January 11, 2020 our 16-year-old daughter, Cara Calitre, tragically passed in a car accident. Cara’s Wave of Hope Foundation will honor our daughter by supporting causes that were important to her, including youth sports, education, and protecting the environment.

For years, our community has laced up their running shoes for Cara’s Annual Leftover Turkey Trot. This year, we are trading the race track for a direct track to student success.
We are pivoting our focus this year to our Scholarship Donation Drive. This Thanksgiving, you can make the exact same life-changing impact on a local student’s future—no running shoes required.
