For the past 5 years, our community has laced up their running shoes, braved the November cold, and stepped up to support our local students and athletes at Cara’s Annual Leftover Turkey Trot. We are incredibly grateful for every mile you ran and every dollar you raised.This year, we are changing our stride and shifting our focus to a Scholarship Email Campaign.

The Cara Calitre Environment Scholarship:
We are immensely proud to announce that Cara’s Wave of Hope Foundation has donated a remarkable total of $34,000 to support twelve outstanding students who truly exemplify Cara’s unwavering passion for the environment. These exceptional individuals not only excel academically but also demonstrate a profound commitment to sustainability and ecological stewardship in their communities. Each of these amazing students has shown remarkable dedication to their studies, actively participating in various environmental initiatives and projects that make a difference. Their hard work and perseverance have made us proud, and we are excited to share their inspiring stories. Here, we present a highlight of some of Cara’s Wave of Hope scholars and the incredible work they are doing to create a brighter and greener future for all.

The Cara Calitre Athletic Scholarship:
We are honoured to support young athletes in their pursuit of excellence and to follow their passion for sports. Cara’s Wave of Hope Foundation has generously donated $10,700 to eight dedicated athletes who exemplify hard work and determination. These remarkable individuals not only honour Cara’s commitment to compete at the highest level but also display exceptional sportsmanship and camaraderie, making them beloved teammates on and off the field. Here are some highlights of soccer players who demonstrate their love of the game through their unwavering dedication, skillful play, and the ability to inspire others around them. Whether through relentless training sessions, teamwork, or their contributions to the community, these athletes embody the spirit of the scholarship and Cara’s legacy, pushing themselves to reach new heights while uplifting their peers.
