These talented have all had a successful freshman year at their respective schools and The Cara’s Wave of Hope Foundation is proud to continue supporting them throughout their college experience!

Cara’s Wave of Hope Foundation was honored to award the Cara Calitre Environmental Scholarship to Anya Hoth on May 16, 2024 at Boulder High’s Award Ceremony. Anya touched us with her desire to honor Cara’s legacy and her passion for the future. Congratulations Anya on your exemplary academic record and your hope to heal the planet!

Memorial Bench Installed at Coot Lake

We are excited to announce that the City of Boulder installed Cara’s Memorial Bench at Coot Lake. Cara loved to walk her dogs, Laddy, Baya, Boca & Baker, at Coot Lake and taught them how to swim here.

We would like you to join us for a small a celebration / dedication ceremony at Cara’s bench on Thursday, August 31 at 6 p.m.

For anyone who would like to visit, Coot Lake is located at 6247 63rd Street Boulder, CO. Cara’s bench is on the southern end of the lake.
